The slow cook
Both sit on the same base. Onion and garlic cooked down slowly until the natural sugars come out and take the sharp edge off the tomato paste. Then garlic and ginger crisped for smoke and savoury depth. Then chilli, last. Only the chilli changes.

Is this too hot as a gift?
