Everything on this page is built on scorpion chilli at 4.8 per cent, one of the hottest chillies in the world, and rates a full 10 out of 10 on the Coast of Gold Scoville scale. This is hotter than our Hot Shito Pepper Sauce, and it is not a gentle step up.

Underneath the heat it is still the same sweet, smoky Ghanaian shito our family has made for years. Handmade in small batches in Australia. A little goes a very long way, so start with the tip of a teaspoon and work up.

Not for the fainthearted, and not the place to begin if you have never had shito before. Start with Mild or Medium and come back when you are ready.
